Retrospect 6.5 Hangs at launch

New install of Retrospect 6.5.350 with latest RDU on Windows 2003 Server (no SP) on Dell PowerEdge 2850 hangs at launch. Have to End Task Retrospect in order to quit. Doesn't even get to the point of asking for installer key.


Adaptec 39160 Dell OEM SCSI card installed connected to Dell LTO 2 Tape Drive. Latest firmware and driver for 39160 card is installed. Have tried both with tape drive connected and disconnected. It seems as if Retrospect hangs as it is initially scanning the hardware upon launch.


Any suggestions?
