steve212131
Can someone answer my quandry................ I recently purchased the 250gb One Touch ll Drive and have created 9 restore points to date. I am doing a complete (All folders in my C; drive are checked off in setup!) backup of 32gigs from my C: drive with each restore point. Yet the restore points show 2-2.5 gigs are backed up! Here is the most recent log.txt file: 4/30/2005 9:37:33 AM: Copying Local Disk (C:) 4/30/2005 9:42:25 AM: Snapshot stored, 76.5 MB 4/30/2005 9:42:30 AM: Comparing Local Disk (C:) 4/30/2005 9:45:22 AM: Execution completed successfully Completed: 5798 files, 2.3 GB Performance: 809.1 MB/minute (797.5 copy, 826.0 compare) Duration: 00:07:49 (00:02:05 idle/loading/preparing) This does not seem correct to me........2.3 GB??? My C: drive contains 89,000 files (32 GB)! Please advise, Steven
wilkinsp
The first backup you make backs up all files, but compresses them. Subsequent backups (except if you selected "clone") only back up changes, and doesn't backup unchanged files - it already has them.
