teraserv
To have reliable multi-purpose backup, I need to backup 1) private store 2) each individual messages in all mailbox 3) public store 4) each individual posts in all public folders in v. 7.0.265 with exchange 2003 and client 7.0.107 1 seems OK, 2 is possible only if you add/remove manualy each users from the backup source 3 is not supported 4 seems OK but account used in retrospect must have read access. Is there any plan to support fully exchange? (specialy point 3 wich is mandatory for a good disaster recovery support) Alain GROSS / Tera Services. AmyJ
1) private store 2) each individual messages in all mailbox 3) public store 4) each individual posts in all public folders All of these are possible with Retrospect 7.0. The mailboxes can be more easily added by clicking the Mailboxes button under Configure > Volumes, selecting "Exchange Mailboxes" then Define. Any mailboxes previously undefined will be added to your list. Public folders can be defined the same way - click "All Public Folders" then Define. You even drill down further into the mailboxes/folders if you are looking for specific folders. Regarding Read Access, well that's going to be true for everything you want to backup. If you don't feel this addressed your concerns please give specific examples of what you're trying to do and how it's not working for you.
