brgbookey Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 Dear List, We bought the external USB Hard-drive product Model WD16000B015-RNE I can see the device from my Win2k PC, I can copy data etc.. But when I startup the Retrospect Express 6.5 software it calls/prompts for a license, I press OK as one is present in the textbox. Then it says its invalid. I have looked at the packaging and the CD/case that I have and I have not got a code that works. Does this mean I have to pay more money to register the sofware...? regards Ben
mike2x Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Perhaps I have a similar problem. According to WD the license we got is valid. However, on my WIN 98SE system the license key is not accepted by the program, which leads to a cycle. I had to deinstall the program to stop it.
