nick_harambee Posted March 12, 2005 Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 hello i am attempting to use retrospect 6.5 pro to backup my laptop to an external hard drive, but the cpu usage keeps locking at 100%. every so often it comes down from 100% but then it soon locks up again, slowing down the backup process as well as the use of my laptop generally. i am using exactly the same program/process on a second laptop (which has a slower processor speed) without any problems. can anyone suggest what might be happening here and how i can resolve the problem? thanks nick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
