Reinstalling upgrades

I am sorry if this answer is posted somewhere already, I looked and didn't see it.

I have a system with both mac and pc being backed up with Retrospect. Recently one of the pc guys reinstalled the software on his machine and now those machines can not be seen on the Retrospect network "client is not visible on network". If I remember correctly the most recent upgrade I did was not from the disk but from online and I am having a hard time figuring out how to get these 2 machines back on my back up. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone help walk me throught it?
