please help!! my retrospect can't find my "removable disk" when i try to "backup"!!

our company has the Maxtor OneTouch HD. i tried to customize your Maxtor OneTouch Button for backup instead of Duplicate. i read the pdf and followed the steps. however, it did not find the removable disk, which is the Maxtor OneTouch HD. how do i make Retrospect see the hard drive?
