sjmills
I can't find anything about this in the guide. How can I see what files were copied on a certain day's backup? And while we're at it, what purpose does the Retrieve button do in the Backups tab of Media Sets? Searching the guide for "retrieve" shows nothing for that button. Lennart_T
I don't have any Mac version at hand, so you have to settle for Windows' screenshots. You go to Backup Set Properties and then Sessions. Then click Browse: For tape backup sets, Retrospect shows you only the last backup for each source. Click on "Retrieve" to find earlier backups for each source. For Disk Backup sets, Retrospect shows you which snapshots you would have if you run Groom(ing). To see earlier backs, click "Retrieve". sjmills
On Mac, I found it in the Past Backups area, where each backup has a Browse button on the right. Clicking it reveals a modal sheet that says it may take several minutes, yet it sat there for over an hour on a backup that claimed to only have 347 files in it. This area doesn't show all backups, only (from what I can tell) the most recent for each backup set, and only those that aren't currently busy. Retrospect continues to confuse.
