Multiserver 6.x. The primary net storage is backed via the client. The Technote for open file says: Retrospect’s Open File Backup option can create a virtual point-in-time copy of multiple **LOCAL** volumes, without the need for additional hardware... (emphasis added) Does this mean that open file option does not work on client volumes? Do I have to install and run Retro. on the same server which handles the primary net storage?
