g.bevan
Hi. I'm trying to backup an SQL server. I'm using SQL Server authentication (although I've tries all the others). I know I'm using the correct login credentials (the same I use to connect with SQL Manager) but Retrospect won't connect to add the SQL server to the backup sources. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks. MRIS
Can you confirm that the retrospect account is a member of the following groups: DOMAIN\Domain Admins DOMAIN\Backup Operators DOMAIN\Administrators Does connecting to the SQL server using query analyzer from another PC work? AndrewA
Have you ever changed the name of the SQL server? If not done properly this could cause a problem like this.
