Would like to be able to schedule other tasks while one if running in the server products. 3. Retrospect retrieves tapes from a library in random order for recording. today Posted August 8, 2002 Report Share Posted August 8, 2002 I agree. I find the tape library support very poor in general. I should be able to number the tapes *before* retrospect picks them. As it is now, I have to run the job, write down on a sheet of paper which tape slot retrospect picked for which tape in the series, and then I can eject the tapes and label them. That is ridiculous.
