Hi,

I've recently moved my Retrospect installation to a newer computer, running Snow Leopard.

Unfortunately, while my AIT-2 Tape Drive shows up fine in the System Profiler, Retrospect doesn't recognize it.

Does anyone know how to remedy this?

I've tried using Retrospect 8.2 instead, and it DOES recognize the tape drive, but it gives me other errors, and would requite me to rebuild all of my old Catalog Sets, which would literally take weeks to accomplish.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,

Cary

Does that mean I could just re-install Tiger or Leopard on my computer, and then Retrospect 6.1 would recognize my AIT-2 Drive again?

It isn't clear which computer you mean.

I would use the old computer with the old OS. You know that would work, right?

I would use that old setup only for restoring, if necessary.

For new backups, I would use a new computer and a new (modern) tape drive.
