e4ab3feb-7865-4f58-be72-3aa61b43007a
Hello, I can't seem to understand why retrospect isn't just backing up new and changed files. Every time I tell it to run the backup it just grabs all the same files again even if I run the backup right after the first one finishes. Any thoughts? Thanks Ben
Lennart_T
Hello, I can't seem to understand why retrospect isn't just backing up new and changed files. Thanks Ben Is this something that worked before? What has changed? Is it a brand new installation? (That never worked before?) Which version of Mac OS X are you running on? What is the source? Client? What kind? Local disk? How is it formatted? What is the destination? Tape? DVD? Hard drive? Kind of backup set?
twickland
When you are collecting the information that Lennart asked for, also go to the backup script in question, hit the "Edit" button, then "Options..." and tell us which options are checked under "Matching."
