mpaton2004 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 Hi, For some reason I keep getting a Can't use Open File Backup option for xxx on xx , error -1017 (insufficient permissions). I've checked the permissions on the folders that are being backed up and they all have full access for the Domain Admin which Retrospect is using. The machine being backed up is Windows 2003 Standard, which is a member server of my domain using NTFS and the latest revision of the 6.5 backup client. I don't understand why it would fail..
