systemsandmore
Hello all, I'm currently getting the error: "Daily Backup failed during automatic execution, error -3408 (unknown). I didn't see anything in the forums about this particular error. I may have hosed something up in the process of changing settings. I'm not sure if it may be the cause but what permission settings need to be given to the user creating the backup? -Thanks
RonaldL
What version of Retrospect are you running? What OS, version of Exchange? Are you backing up this machine locally or through a client? Did this work before? Does it work if you try an immediate backup? The user account running Retrospect needs to be a member of: Domain Users Administrators Backup Operators Domain Administrators You also want to send an email to this account to initialize it in Exchange. systemsandmore
I am running the latest version of Retrospect, Exchange Server 2003, backing up to the tape drives on the server box, and yes it did work before. I changed all the permissions and now I am also getting a prompt for user id/pw. When I enter it in I receive an internal authentication error. -Thanks
