Dantz turned a dvd into a cd

I burned a file set to dvd with retrospect. I verified the files (twice)

 

when windows tries to read the dvd, window explorer insistes that it is a blank cd (not dvd)

 

however retrospect can read the disk as a dvd.

 

is that weird?

Actually thats normal. Windows will never be able to read discs burned with Retrospect.
