ElectroMan Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 Hello, I am running Retrospect Backup v MAC5.1 on a PowerMacG3/450(blue) circa 1999. OS9.2.2 The software runs perfectly but it's only filling about 1/3 of the 4.7GB DVD-R disc in my Plextor PX-708UF IDE backup drive before requesting a new disc. The Retrospect message box reads: "Please select a new disc. It will be named <next disc>. All data will probably fit on one new 1.3GB disc." Why 1.3GB disc? Why is Retrospect not utilizing the full capacity of my drive/disc? (Note: Running a Check Script Retrospect acknowledges the full 4.7GB capacity of my discs.)
