Catalog for disaster recovery using DR CD

Does anyone know how to override rebuilding of the catalog file during disaster recovery (using recovery CD)? The DR wizard asks for the latest backup media and rebuilds the catalog by reading through the tape (takes over 2 hours). I have the catalog backed up in another volume (or I can also save it in a CD). But I couldn't find out how to force Disaster Recovery wizard to use the backed up catalog file.

My catalog file was only 45MB, but when I created the DR CD image, the catalog was not copied to it. So I had to back it up separately.

Thanks,

philS

Hi

Doesn't cancelling the DR wizard take you to the standard Retrospect screen? At that point you should be able to go to configure backup sets and add the catalog file then run a restore from the restore menu. If you quit the DR process entirely the machine will reboot and keep installing windows until you have a complete version of Retrospect available to use for restore.

Thanks

Nate
