lfreeman
I've installed the Retrospect client on my Windows 2003 Terminal Server but I can't contact it form the backup server. When I lauch the Retrospect client on the Terminal Server it come up with every control on every tab disabled. The status shows 'Client networking not available, or service not running.' The service is running as confirmed by the service control manager, and the event log show no errors in the application or system logs. I can start or stop the service without any problems. I've tried running the client service as the system account and as a domain user account, but that seems to make no difference. Any suggestions? natew
Hi The client service should run just fine with the local system account. Can you uninstall the client and try reinstalling it while logged in as a different domain admin user? Thanks Nate
