clim
The e-mail notifier fires up my Outlook everytime it tries to send mail, disrupting whatever I am doing and sending mouse events to all the wrong places. I've tried to turn e-mail notifications off, and it still does it. I need to have the launcher running to ensure Retrospect is up so I can't just turn the launcher service off completely. Any ideas???
natew
Hi Does this happen when you backup volumes that are not on the local machine too? It may be cuased by the "quit outlook" setting in the script settings. Can you give us some more details on you OS and Retrospect version? Are you using the built in main notification or an external script? Thanks Nate
clim
Yes, I think it happens when I back up external network volumes too (need to verify this though). OS is Win2K Professional SP4, Retrospect 6.5.336 Multi Server. I have Office 2000. I'm using the built in mail notification. I have just unchecked "Force backup of Outlook data" in all scripts so it doesnt try to quit Outlook. Will see what happens. Thanks.
