I did the external scripts email thing and edited the stuff in the bat file. I copied it to the Retrospect directory like the instructions said. Every time it tuns, it asks you to push enter,etc.. Am I doing this incorrectly. And will this run everytime a script is being processed.

This is an example of the reports we used to get before we rebuilt tit, and I don't know how to get to this to do:

Report generated by Retrospect.

------------------------

Script "SOT" started on "3/26/2004 2:53".

------------------------

Script "SOT" finished a "Normal" backup to "SOT" on "3/26/2004 2:58"

"281" files ("424089" KB) on "Backup Clients/SOT/Drive D (D:)/Webhosting" were backed up in "224" seconds.

Script "SOT" finished a "Normal" backup to "SOT" on "3/26/2004 2:59"

"19" files ("42819" KB) on "Backup Clients/SOT/Drive D (D:)/LogFiles" were backed up in "44" seconds.

------------------------

Script "SOT" finished successfully.

Hi

Can you clarify what "it" is? Are you saying the batch file is asking you to hit enter or is it something else in Retrospect or your mail client?

The event handler scripts are examples more than anything. You are free to edit them any way you like and you can create custom scripts as needed.

Thanks

Nate

it refers to the batch file. It runs and then says hit enter to continue. However it is not sending the mail either. I can attach the bat file if you like to look at it. Also the reports it was emailing before looked like this, and we want it to start doing that again everytime a script completes successfully!!!
