samj
I'm having a problem with installing a Sony AIT1-90UL tape drive on a Mac G4. The mac "sees" the tape drive in the System profilierm but when I launch Retrospect 5.1 it does not detect the drive. Sony qualifies the drive for Mac OS 9 and X. Any suggestions? natew
Hi, What version of the driver update do you have installed? Are you saying that the device is not visible at all in configure->devices->device status in Retrospect? Thanks Nate
samj
I've downloaded version 4.3 driver update and placed it in the retrospect folder. When I open the retrospect app and select confirgure/devices the drive does not show up. The only place that shows that the drive is attached to the cpu is in the Apple machine status window. I'm probably going to try and trash the preferences (retrospect). I also read where the Toast firewire prefs might be affecting retospect.
