Comparing after Backup

Recommended Posts

I am fairly new to Retrospect, had it only for 1 week.

I have Retrospect Express Backup 6.0.222 (it came with maxtor 250GB OneTouch. Running W2k, using firewire. Maxtor drive is NTFS. Backing up my 2 data volumes not system volume. I don't know how critical these errors are. Any insight on this problem would be appreciated!!!

I get tons of these errors after backup:

Hi

I would run a verify or a catalog rebuild on the backup set from the Retrosepct tools menu. This could indicate corruption in the backup set or on the hard disk itself.

Be sure to run disk utilites on all of the drives involved. If you are using a "file" backup set try using a "disk" backup set instead.

Nate
