tdelbruck
With retrospect professional 6.5, windows XP, and seagate DDS-4 drive, retrospect runs unattended scheduled backups fine, but when i start retrospect to look at results of scheduled backups, it runs incredibily slowly. it still runs, and the load in task manager is zero, but it takes about 2 minutes for each menu item to be processed. at the moment i have been waiting for about 5 minutes while retro says "Quitting" in the status bar, and it took a lot of patience even to get this far. restarting windows fixes the problem until (apparently) another scheduled backup has run. i'm running retrospect as my windows user account in a (futile) attempt to back up a samba folder on a linux machine, however, there are no samba volumes being backed up at present. the only volumes being backed up are local. does anyone else have this problem? natew
Hmmmmm This is wierd. What else is running on your system? Have you tried an uninstall/reboot/reinstall of Retrospect? Nate
