kaikow
What files are supposed to be in the following directory for Retrospect Pro 6..5? G:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Retrospect\RtrExec.dir I ask because shortly after I compled a backup to a USB external drive, I disconnected the USB drive. Then I inserted a CD-RW into the CD-RW drive to copy config65.dat and the updated catalog. Thanx to good old InCD, I got a BSOD shortly after inserting the CD-RW. During the reboot, the scandisk ran on the G drive and reported two files were munged in RtrExec.dir and were having their allocation units wiped out. Screen went by too fast, but I did note that one of the files was a .tmp file. Do I have to repair anything? Since Retrospect does not seem to backup that directory, am I correct in guesing that the content does not matter, other than while Retrospect is running? natew
Hi You can trash that file and it will be recreated again once Retrospect launches. In other words you are fine doing nothing. If the file is damaged it should be recreated. Nate
