Volume Across Network Blank

I am using Retrospect 5.0.238 and Mac OS 10.2.6 on an EMac. I tried to backup a folder located on a 9500 running Mac OS 8.5.1. across our network. I've been doing this with no problem. However, this week Retrospect did not backup the folder. The log entry reported the follwing error: Can't access volume (name of volume) on 9500, error -5019 (server: feature not supported).

I checked all the network connections, software, etc., everything was fine only Retrospect cannot see the volume. Tried to remount the volume and redefine the subvolume but that did not work. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
