tangledwebster
If Retrospect is told to restore to a directory that does not exist, what happens? For example, I backup files such as an address book, or bookmarks, but when I restore I may have rebuilt my hard drive and haven't installed the associated programs yet? What happens in this case? What about if its a different computer all together?
natew
Hi The default restore action puts all of the restored items in to a folder called "backup set name". You would then move them out of that folder to the place you would like to keep them permanently. Nate
