decoyte
I have a Snapserver and two firewire drives and I am attempting to backup the Snapserver to a differetn Firewire drive each evening. I have two problems. Problem one is that I get something like 33,000 errors each of which is something like: File "\\SOLUTION160\SHARE1\SfP\Sustainability\UTILITY\Philadelphia\SFP Costs throuh 33100.wpd": different modify date/time (src: 6/24/1914 6:41:00 AM, dest: 8/13/2003 10:55:48 PM) Problem two is that after 2 backups tells me that the Firewire disk is full. Each Firewire drive has enough space to back-up the entire Snapserver! My script shows the correct source and destination and states "Replacing Corresponding Files". Can anyone shed any light? I have been using Retrospect Express version 5.6 and, in frustration, upgraded to 6.5.319 Thanks Rick
AmyJ
1. If the error is a different modify date or time (such as "File 'Home.html': different modify date/time.") then the file was most likely modified or saved between the original backup pass and the compare pass. The file will be recopied at the next backup. 2. Are you doing Backups or Duplicates? There is no option to "Replace Corresponding Files" with a Backup. When you see these errors (about the disk being full), get Properties on the Firewire volume through Windows Explorer - how much free space is available?
