lindadedominicis
I have a mac running 10.2.6, with a superdrive, I just installed Retrspect 5.1 and cannot use my DVD-RW disc, it gave an error, and rendered the disc unusable, did the same with a CD-RW, I did download and install the new driver for the pioneer drive. Am I going to be able to use an RW disc? I am able to back up to CD-R, but I really do not want to.
bmswalla
I have used apparently used DVD-RW successfuly with Retrospect 5.1 running under 10.2.6. I say apparently because some of my discs generated errors. I assumed this was becuase I bought generic, bulk media, and that the discs themselves were of poor quality (5 out of 8 were ok). What do you mean by "rendered unusable". Were you unable to erase the DVD-RW disc with Retrospect? Brian
lindadedominicis
It kills the disc it will not erase them, they are no longer formatable. The DVD-RW was a pioneer, the CD-RW was a fuji. Does brand matter, if so, which ones work?
