jswingchun
I got this on the the Xserve Raid mailing list yesterday: Dear Retrospect Customer, Dantz is happy to announce that preliminary testing of Xserve RAID has shown that Retrospect 5.1 for Macintosh is compatible with Apple's Xserve RAID when used with partitions that are smaller then 1TB in size. As a subscriber to the Xserve newsletter, we will update you when this 1TB limit has been lifted as well as any other developments related to Xserve compatibility. Thank you for using Retrospect Dantz Development I am backing up an Xserve Raid using a gigabit network connection. I read on the forum that backup sets cannot be stored on a drive larger than 1TB, so I am keeping them on my backup server. Does "when used with partitions that are smaller then 1TB in size" mean that Retrospect will fail if used on a partition larger than 1TB or it will fail if used on a partition containing more than 1TB of data? Using OS X Server 10.2.6 and Retrospect 5.0.
