Jim Caldwell
Hi: I have a Mac G4 running OSX and connected via a router to my older Mac running OS 9.1. I have just installed Retrospect 5.1 in OSX. I can mount the shared disk of the older mac on the desktop, and Retrospect recognizes it - but zero files in the shared disk are available for backup. Preview shows only the name of the shared disk. 5.1 works wonderfully to backup the OSX hard disk and an OS 9 hard disk on my G4. Any suggestions on getting Retrospect to recognize the files in the shared disk would be appreciated. Jim

Check the ReadMe for instructions on backing up volumes mounted via AFP (note: use the second suggested method; don't log into the Finder as root, it's not necessary).
