kaikow
How long after Retrospect creates a backup set to a CD-RW must one wait before being able to eject the media? The only wat I was able to do this was to start ISOBuster. After ISOBuster got control of th edrive, I was then able to right-click on the drive and use properties, via InCD, to eject the drive. It would seem that either I'm not waiting long enough, or Retrospect is not playing nice with InCD, until their big brother, ISOBuster, comes to the rescue. CD-RW is ATAPI Plextor PX-W4824TA. natew
Hi Can you try this win INcd disabled? There is also another person on the forum using INcd and having eject/insertion problems. Thanks Nate
kaikow
Well: 1. ISOBuster seems to be able to grab/release control of the drive, so I don't know why Retrospect cannot also do this, InCD or not. As far as I'm concerned, it is a problem with Retrospect not releasing control of the drive. InCD is not preventing ISOBuster from doing its thing, indeed, while ISOBuster's window is showing, I can right-click on the drive in My Computer and use InCD to eject the drive. 2. How does one disable InCD? It appears that InCD is installed or not, I see no option for disabling.
kaikow
Based on some observations made investigating the problem in this thread and the Error 206 thread, I'm starting a separate thread to expouse my observations.
