kathleenC
Hello- OK...I just went to retrieve something off of a storage set, and realized that there were two members on the storage set, When I hit restore, it asked me for 2-Creative archive, and 1-Creative archive tape is in the drive. I then realized that there were two members to my storage set. now, if I say that the one member is "missing" am I going to loose all that is in that member? I'm kinda confused as to what to do? Want to make sure I don't mess the storage set/tape up. thanks for any suggestions! Kathleen
AmyJ
You do not need to mark anything as missing. Just insert 2-Creative archive for the restore to proceed. Retrospect is not asking for 1-Creative archive because none of the files you are restoring are stored on that member.
kathleenC
Hi- Thanks for your reply. Actually, if I go into the members list...and it lists what is stored there...it says there is 240 megs on the 1 member, and 24 gigs on the other.... i did what you said though..and ejected the tape, set what I wanted to restore, and then when it asked for the tape, I insterted it...and that worked...although now it's pulling this things when it cant' find the file I'm looking for and just spinning endlessly, just like my other post from yesterday....I'm having real problems with this one set of tapes and can't figure out why? I have no idea how I did that? Because I never set up anything with multiple members...I'm really confused. thanks!
