AndyRams
We have just installed on our MAC OS9 machine a trial version of Retrospect Desktop 5.1. Following the manual to make our first backup, fine. But when we go to 'backup' we get the error 'No Backup Device Found'. We are wanting to use the Macs internal CD writer as we have no external SCSI or USB drives. Is it possible to use this internal CD and if so what may be the problem. AmyJ
Do you see the drive listed under Configure > Devices > Device Status? If so, you can try using the Auto Configurator to build a driver for your device. Select the drive and hit the Configure button to start the wizard. AndyRams
Hi AmyJ, There are no devices listed in this window at all, nor if I go to 'status' and 'Rescan'. Any other ideas? Thanks Andy
AmyJ
Check the Apple System Profiler to find the make/model of the CD drive. Once you've found that information, check the hardware compatibility list for details on minimum requirements: www.dantz.com/hardware
