wokoenig
Hello together, in Retrospect 6.0 I make a backup with my script. During this time, the BackuP Windows minimize and after finished the backup, the windows from Retrospect closed automatic. BUT: In Retrospect 6.5 the windows doesn't minimize and does'nt closed automatic. I havn't see a possibilitie to change this . Any idea? BTW: It seems that to make backup with R 6.5 is slower than with the V6.0 Its a longer time for V 6.5 to check the "opening files" and create a snaphot. I 'm single User. natew
Wolfgang, I'm not sure about Retrospect automatically minimizing - this is not something I remember hapening in 6.0. The automatic quit after a backup completes is controlled by a setting in the configure->prefrernces->unattended menu. As far as the speed concerned, Have you changed your scritps to back up security information from workstations? That would slow things down a lot. You may want to try creating a new set of configuration files. You can do so by moving or renaming your current configuration files located at /documents and settings/all users/application data/retrospect config65.dat and config65.bak Nate
derogan
Good Day. I actually just received Retrospect v6.0 and I would like the application running in an automated fashion to run minimized mode. Right now when it runs I could be working on something else and then the Retrospect screen opens on top of everything. Any ideas? Thanks.
