nategold
I have the Matshita UJ-815 drive in my Powerbook G4 1 GHz. It originally came with the DOC4 firmware and I have **never** been able to backup to CD-RW without many 206 errors. Dantz yesterday posted a firmware update to bring it up to DOCB firmware. I am happy to report that for the first time I can backup with no 206 errors. Thanks, Dantz, for posting this firmware update.
sam452
OK, I have a BigAl with the SuperDrive. Retrospect 5 Express says it's a UJ-815 and the version is DWDB. In reading the notes I downloaded, including the driver update, I don't see this revision noted. Will the Dantz updater "fix" this so I can use DVD-R discs in backing up? thanx, sam
AmyJ
The firmware updater installs the minimum firmware required for use with Retrospect: D0CB Please check with the hardware vendor to determine if DWDB is newer or older then D0CB.
