harvey
I have made several attempts to get retrospect 5.0.238 to "see" my Lacie(Sony SDX-400C) tape drive to no avail. I am running Mac OSX 10.2.4 on a G4 466MHZ machine with an Atto EPCI-PSC scsi card and the latest driver update, all of which are supported items according to Dantz. I can see the scsi card and tape drive with system profiler however retrospect does show the tape drive as an available device. I have tried the same set-up on a quicksilver mac and had the same results. I have also tried booting into OS 9.2.2 and get essentially the same results. Any body out there that has had this problem and resolved it? Harvey
AmyJ
Is the drive seen under Configure > Devices > Device Status? Which edition of Retrospect are you using? Express, Desktop, Workgroup or Server? Please list all information related to the drive as it is seen in the Apple System Profiler.
