I've created a script to save each day on the DLT band why the name of the day (Monday on Monday ... ) But Retrospect reclam me the DLT band named "1-Monday" and scan all the DLT without finding the band because the band called "Monday" not "1-Monday" Why the "1-" before monday ? AmyJ Posted April 23, 2003 Report Share Posted April 23, 2003 This is correct behavior. Each backup set can have 1 member or span across multiple members. To differentiate them, the members are named accordingly: First tape = 1-Backup Set name Second tape = 2-Backup Set name Imagine if the Monday backup set had 100 tapes all named "Monday?"
