mlenny
I have just installed a Dell Powervault 122T LTO onto our Windows 2000 Server SP2, running Multi-Server 6. We have a dual-channel Adaptec 39160 card. We originally had a Powervault 120T DLT1 tape library which I have kept attached to the other channel on the SCSI card. I want to keep the 120T going for the Proactive Backups during the day, and have the 122T for the big overnight backups and archiving during the day. However, when I go to the Devices tab, I can see both drives, but only the library for the 120T. Is this a limitation of the software? Can I only have one library attached? Any suggestions? Cheers, Matt.

How about when you go to the Environment tab - do you see all four SCSI ID's and devices listed (two tape drives and two libraries)? Try offsetting your SCSI ID's by 3 with the higher ID assigned to the loader. Example: Tape drive: SCSI ID 2 Tape library: SCSI ID
