sbken
OK, I’ll try one last time. I’ve posted about this previously but haven’t received any responses. I’m using Reprospect 5.0.238. One of my catalogs is damaged (I’ve separated the catalog from the snapshot). I’ve tried repeatedly to repair the catalog and Retroscpect reports “Building Catalog” for a long period of time but unexpectedly quits with a type 2 error before it can complete. I tried the repair four times, the last two with Retrospect’s memory set to 100MB. All to no avail. My only option at this point is to trash the old catalog thus loosing all the data. Configuration: 300 MHz iBook, 320 MB RAM, OS 9.2.2, backup to a USB external HD (APS FireWire Plus). Anyone?
