Guest psykoyiko Posted April 25, 2003 Report Share Posted April 25, 2003 This error could be caused by large numbers of files being scanned on the linux client at one time. Are you backing up the root of the linux client's filesystem (/) ? If you are, try defining subvolumes as the sources on the client, this way Retrospect will only scan one folder at a time, instead of the entire filesystem.
