phantom21
Hello all, I have a slight problem with Retrospect Workgroup edition 5 for Mac OS 9.2. It started about a week ago when Retrospect suddently stopped backing up the network computers due to insufficient memory. The exact message in the log is "error -108 (not enough memory)". I put in an extra 256 MB of RAM into the server and the problem went away until yesterday when the same error message resurfaced. Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to solve it? Thanks, phantom21
allenm
I'm experiencing the same issue with some of my 10.2.4 & 10.2.5 clients (server is on 9.2.2). I was able to finally get a workaround by defining subvolumes on the client. e.g. volume - Macintosh HD - -108 error subvolume - /Users - -108 error subvolume - /Users/Shanna - worked I speculate that Retrospect has some issue reading the directories on 10.2.4+. Perhaps it can't identify the end of the directory.
