FuzzyJohn
I have Retrospect Professional 6 installed on 2 desktops, both running on Windows 2000 Professional and both using the OnStream DI-30 FAST drive as a backup device. They both use the same screen resolution and color depth. One machine uses Novell to log on a network while the other uses only Windows. When I launch Retrospect on both machines I can see that the programs do not have the same look. On one machine the bar at the left of the window has the beige or light brown color and the titlebars of the Retrospect child windows is brown. On the other machine the bar at the left of the window is gray and the titlebars follow the Windows color settings (blue for the active window). Why is this? Mayoff
I believe you can choose the location by right clicking on the bar. I am not sure why the colors are different.

Mayoff
Sorry, I didn't read your post clearly enough. I thought you were also seeing the navigation bar on different sides of the screen, in addition to changes in color. If you remove the config file from the Retrospect preferences folder, does the color change? I have a feeling the color is controlled by some of the window colors as defined in the control panels on the computer.
