DrStern Posted March 17, 2003 Report Share Posted March 17, 2003 Specifically, I am interested in restoring a Public contacts database from Exchange server, equipped only with exchange agent, a now-working version of Exchange 2000, and the original Raw Exchange database files from the server I replaced. (When I did it, I didn't know a standard backup would not work. I ended up completely rebuilding the system, but I could not rebuild the contacts database except to do so slowly, as I needed them.) Ericg Posted March 18, 2003 Report Share Posted March 18, 2003 Using the Exchange Agent you will only be able to restore the Information store and/or the Directory store back to a working Exchange server. The Exchange agent does not have a feature to restore any level below the two stores.
