nrd Posted February 13, 2003 Report Share Posted February 13, 2003 Hello. I am looking to backup to CD-RW media on my iBook 700 with DVD/CD-RW Drive. From the hardware compatibility list, it says that the Sony CRX800E isn't able to back up to CD-RW. Only CD-R. http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=compatibility_list_detail&id=8592 But I called Dantz Customer Service and they said that the CRX800E does back up to CD-RW. So I thought I would ask once more here in the forums to make sure. As I cannot afford to purchase the app and find out later that it isn't compatible with my drive and CD-RW media. Thanks. AmyJ Posted February 13, 2003 Report Share Posted February 13, 2003 Retrospect does not support the use of CD-RW medis with the Apple ATAPI version of this drive.
