jfgreen Posted March 29, 2002 Report Share Posted March 29, 2002 Instructions say to delete the preview version of 5.0 for OSX and remake backup sets. The instructions also say that the uninstall program will not remove the catalogs created by the preview version. My understanding is that the backup set includes the physical device (dat tape) plus the catalogs created during backup. How can I keep the existing catalogs and use them with new backup set? IrenaS Posted March 29, 2002 Report Share Posted March 29, 2002 We recommend that you do NOT keep the catalog files or the tapes that you created with the Preview version. The uninstaller does not delete these files in case you do wish to continue using them. If the new install of Retrospect does not see these catalog files, find them in the Finder and double-click them or drag them to the Retrospect icon to open them.
