pachy Posted January 8, 2003 Report Share Posted January 8, 2003 Running 9.1 and Retrospect 4.3 with Yamaha external scsi 6416 CDRW. Have all known current drivers and extensions. Backup to CD-R works fine. When I attempt to Restore the following happens: 1. It says Pease insert disc xxx; I insert disc 2. It says Loading and then after a few seconds 3. It says Erased and just sits there. I have to manually eject. I've tried several different CD-R's and both small (100k) and large (600M) backups but it will not "read" the CD-R. Suggestions? What happens if you backup to a new disc (as a test) eject it and reinsert it? Does the proper name show up under Configure > Devices? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
