AppleZilla
Are these two drives compatible with Retrospect Express for Mac OSX? APS DVD-R/RW+CD-RW FireWire Part #: 104918 http://www.apstech.com/prod/item.cfm?cat=2&item=1277 APS 120GB 7200rpm FireWire & USB Hard Drive Part #:300208 http://www.apstech.com/prod/item.cfm?cat=1&item=1518 They aren't in the compatibility database. Maybe because they're too new?
IrenaS
FireWire hard drives are generally supported, unless they are unsupported by Mac OS X. Although there isn't anything on the APS site that says definitively one way or another, I haven't heard of any problems with their hard drives under X. As for the DVD-R/RW+CD-RW drive, it depends on the mechanism that is in the drive itself. I don't believe that this drive is supported yet, but it's all based on the internal mechanism. If you can get this information, that's what you'll need to check the compatibility guide for.
