Authorization settings not working

Each time that I start my computer Retrospect Desktop starts up and requests a password to continue. I've un-checked the box requiring authorization multiple times and yet the next time I start up I am asked for my password again. I'm running Jaguar and version 5.0.201. Have not been able to download the more recent version. Thanks in advance for help with this.
