I see a lot of info in the user manual about definition but no real examples of the best way to use all of the different methods. Thanks! If you need to recover individual messages you can either backup every mailbox plus the storage groups for server level protection or just backup the storage groups and use the recovery storage group features in exchange to recovery mailboxes when needed.
